Shell recalls employees from JVs with Gazprom, Gazprom Neft
MOSCOW, Apr 20 (PRIME) -- British-Dutch energy giant Shell has recalled its employees from joint ventures with Russian gas giant Gazprom and oil company Gazprom Neft, a Shell spokesperson told reporters on Wednesday.
"This is a gradual process coordinated with the partners so that it has no negative impact on operations of the ventures," the spokesperson said.
At the end of February, Shell decided to leave all the joint ventures with Gazprom and Gazprom Neft, including the Sakhalin-2, Yenisei, Salym Petroleum, and Nord Stream 2 projects. In March, the company also decided to close its chain of gasoline filling stations in Russia.
